Love Chase and Kenzie

I just love, love, love this series. S.J. McCoy writing and descriptions makes me want to move to Summer Lake and find a hot romance as all of these characters have found. We have seen Chase, the lead singer of the local band, in books before this one. He is a bit of a ladies man. He meets Kenzie, whom we met in Megan and Michaels' story, and is wowed!!! Kenzie and Chase have an incredible night of loving (hot loving). Here's the problem, Kenzie has to go back to Nashville (or so she thinks). She has low self esteem. She has a loving sister and future brother in law who would happily help her, but she is s stubborn one. Something happens when Kenzie goes back to Nashville causing Chase to come rescue her. From that moment on we have a wonderful storyline developing. Both of these people are going blind in a relationship because it's a new thing for both of them. There are a few misunderstandings along the way. Kenzie is a runner, therefore I'm glad that she became great friends with Smoke and Laura. They help her see how her life could be. This is a great addition to this series, and I am eagerly awaiting the next book. I love visiting with characters that I gave my all to in previous books. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger. Give this series a try because you won't be disappointed. You could read this as a stand alone, but I feel that you will enjoy the book more if you know more about the characters and their backgrounds.

GREAT BOOK, GREAT SERIES

I love love love this book! SJ McCoy you did it again. Great job! Kenzie has come to Summer Lake to check on her sis Megan and make sure she is okay, and ends up meeting one very sexy singer. Kenzie figures a one night stand with Chase will be enough. These two lovers can't stop thinking about each other though. Kenzie high tails it back to Tennessee and ends up having a run in with her ex. He tries to what he thinks he is owed by her (sex) but she is having none of it. Unfortunately for her though he comes back and does quite a number on her. Thankfully she has a great neighbor who finds her and calls an ambulance for her. Chase is notified and goes after his girl and with Smoke and Laura's help get her back to Summer Lake. These two sizzle every time they are together, :-). Even though they both decide to take a chance on each other, their insecurities keep popping up between them and some people like that character Robin, don't help. If you want to find out how it ends and everything else they go through, get the book! You will not be disappointed, it is very well written, SJ does a great job with her characters and you can't help but fall in love with them all.

Hot and Steamy

HOLY WOW!!! Another amazing read from SJ McCoy. She has taken her previous books and knocked them out of the park with this instalment. Her steamy scenes were not steamy, they were damn right scorching. You can feel the heat of Kenzie and Chase jumping out from the pages at you. She has certainly out done herself with this book.
Kenzie (Megan's sister), her story overlaps from where Megan's story left off (Laugh Like You've Never Cried). You get to find out exactly what happened between this couple as you were left wanting more of these two in the last book. You get to find out about Kenzie's life and how rough she really does have it.
I fell in love with Chase too, he's been in the background in the previous book and I'm glad to see him happy. I do feel that there is more to learn about Chase though, yet I may be wrong. This book also left open some issues between Pete and Holly, which again really makes me want more. It was well written and SJ has definitely put everything into this. I really can't wait for more. I always love how you get to catch up with all the previous couples along the way.
Again, AMAZING!!!
